Dude seriously. The first thing I thought when I saw it was "Hmm, I don't think I've heard of a video game called Krakatoa."

I actually thought they were both video game screenshots until I actually put a little thought into it.

amazing shots. weird use of aperture setting, but I like it. I wanna know how Marco got the foreground so in focus without sacrificing the mountain too, that's not easy, takes a damn steady hand and intimate knowledge of photography.... or just a $10,000 digital SLR with voice input commands and AI

In 1883 Krakatoa had a massive eruption, The sky went grey for 5 years and the climate cooled. One of the biggest eruption in historic times

Volcanos erupt pretty frequently where I live, Iceland. At least 1-2 a decade.

In '73 the inhabitants of the Westman islands were awoken...

The lowest picture is from a sub glacial eruption in '96..
