In september 2009, Kranthor was started by Burak Altıparmak and Çağdaş Yazıcı. Then İhsan Uygur(vocals) and Onur Tütüncü(guitar) joined the band and Kranthor started to practise at studio without a bass player. During that time Kranthor had help about bass in their songs from Özgün Bal from Ankara. In may 2010 Onat Kaplan officially joined the band as the bass player.
In December 2010 the band had problems with the vocal and tha bass so they started looking for new members. After one month of search Mehmet Özcan(vocals) and Batuhan Ergün(bass) joined the band. With the new members, Kranthor practised at studio to produce new songs and still having gigs to make their followers headbang!
