Holy fuck! One of the best lineups we've ever seen. Hoenstly, we went on a whim because we were shooting our music video in NY state and we finished earlier than expected, so we decided to take the train into Manhattan. We did miss spirit world and most of death angel, but Kreator had probably the greatest circle pit any of us had ever witnessed (only thing that could've been better was the tone on the lead guitar wah sounded like it was turned all the way down, so a lot of the leads were buried).
Sepultura......we were pleasantly surprised. Honestly, it just helps to think of them as a completely different band; they didn't play much off beneath the remains or arise, but it was still an impressive set; their bass drops were the best I've heard of ANY live band (new or old); who else here went to that show and what'd you think?
