krokus- hoodoo

Agree, it is a strong effort. Must be Von Arb's influence (not that Hellraiser was weak ... must be Freedy Steady's influence :p :p ...) But having said that, THE Born to tbe Wild cover could have stayed. I have heard enough of those in my lifetime. I think original lineups sometimes just gel better.

yeah krokus originally dropped off after most of the classic lineup departed so maybe there is something to that

anyone check this out? i was surprised at how strong this album is

I was never the biggest Krokus fan, but Hoodoo is an excellent album IMO. Hellraiser was also very good, but at times "heavier" while Hoodoo has more the rock'n'rollish style of the early albums. I think overall the songwriting is better on Hoodoo than on Hellraiser. In any ways, I played Hoodoo lots of time and liked it well enough to buy the real CD after having downloaded it...
