I heard times of grace with these at soundwave and they sounded really really good.

That amp looks pretty friggin sweet. From the video you can see it's got a fully variable wattage knob and something of a built in boost pedal circuit. I wish it was actually mic'd up in the video though instead of just camera audio though.

Yep, they had Laney amps at Soundwave Festival. Sounded good too

I seem to recall reading Adam saying they didn't like to take the Splawns oversees. This might have been their solution for touring out of the US.

If anyone has a chance to play one (Ola hint hint) update us.

Has anyone been able to try one of these out themselves? I'm pretty interested in this thing but it's not like Guitar Centers here just have them lying around to demo. Might just have to wait for better video demos or something.

I tried the 60-watt combo, and it was fucking balls. No low-end whatsoever. The channel switching setup was really non-sensical too.

Try the VH100R - a much better amp, imho.

I should totally qualify what I said though - I did only try the 60-watt combo. The 120watt head with a decent speaker may be awesome.
