7-11 is doing promotion for the simpsons movie coming out july 27th (which i've been looking forward to for YEARS now ehhehe) - there's a handful of em renamed kwik-e-mart - here's the one in vegas

i got some pink donuts, a box of krusty o's, and here's me with a squishy and apu!

That is awesome! I went to the here and bought some pink donuts and Homer cookies. The first thing I did was bite of Homer's head on the cookie and said, "Mmmm... Homerrrrrr."

I only have one disappointment about this promotion. They don't have Duff Beer.

My sis-in-law will be going to one this weekend and get some pics. I want to hit our local 7 and pick up a Squishy (since we don't have the full conversion stores here).

Went to the one in Burbank, which has also been converted. That's where I had the strange experience of standing in line for twenty minutes just to get a squishy. I'm goin' to Vegas next week. I reckon I'll stop by that Kwik-E-Mart as well! I'll try to snag a picture next to Apu!

I've tried to go to the Venice/Sepulveda one a couple of times, but I refuse to wait in line 20 min to buy a squisy, so I left.

It just happens that today I was driving back to West LA from a meeting in Torrance and took Sepulveda to avoid the 405 traffic. I stopped by the Kwik-E-Mart on Sepulveda/Venice to buy a 6 pack of Buzz Cola. There was a steady flow of people but not more than 10 inside the store, so I was able to get what I needed in a few minutes. Of course, it was 10:30 a.m.
