Any other fans of Kyuss here? Not really a fan of their weird production (although it is perfect for their music) but more a fan of what they did musically. I'm also a Queens of the Stone Age fan...

I FUCKING LOVE KYUSS! Oh yeah, the band that made the 90's bearable. "Blues for the Red Sun" is on my top 5 ultimate albums list (along with Sad Wings & Blind) I was part of the Kyuss fan's mailing list way back in 1995 & still have my "Kyuss Movers Inc" t-shirt made by the fans for the fans....

Sky Valley is still my #1 Road Trip record. Hit the highway & crank it up.... great stuff. I didn't get into QOTSA that much. I wish Kyuss would do a reunion tour.

I had the pleasure of seeing Kyuss on the Sky Valley tour in Stoke at the Wheatsheaf. One of the best gigs (in terms of performance) I've ever been to. Te noise that came from Scott Reeder was like having a fat bloke pogo-ing on your chest.

My band March Hare (when we actually played live) played with Kyuss back in 1993 or 1994. They're live setup was so loud that it made ours sound unbelievably weak. The bass guitarist's rig sounded like a freight train.
