Lars or Horgh?

Which one do you think is better? I think they're both very good drummers but Horgh is better.

You know, I won't argue with you about who is better. Yeah, it is prima faci evidence that Horgh is more technical drummer, but he didn't created any distinguished things as Lars did. Who was on all albums? Whom we hear on greatest one "Destroy's Wacken"? Time will show us, but... at this moment -- Lars is the only.

I can't say I ever thought of their songs as lacking something such as good drumming before all this came up way back when, but Horgh was obviously an asset to Virus.

IMO Horgh's drumming sounds very clean! Even with the old songs he makes them sound better for some reason. Anyways he has my vote!

Horgh is IMO, a master percussionist. I'm not a drummer, but, he brings to mind John Bonham of Zep. Crushing and powerful. BTW, I think he blows away the original drummer for Immortal--Armagedda.

but I'd like to see if Horgh can write songs such as Shamateur, Disconnected magnetic corridors, Time warp etc etc by himself

for the few here who have heard symbol of baphomet ...I think Lars's drumming in that one is pretty good

but obviously the guy struggles to blast beat

Lars may have been on some classic albums and wrote Destoyed which is a cool song but Horgh helped freshen Hypocrisy's sound up quite a bit. I think horgh will continue to kick ass for a while to come so I voted him.

Horgh adds more energy to the music, making for a much more intense sound. For Death metal, this is probably one of the most important things a drummer should do, in my opinion.
