Sounds killer as usual man!

Guitars have a different quality to them than the last few things I've heard from you ... you doing something different with them or am I talking out my ass?

I really like the guitar sound a LOT

I have to agree, the guitars have a very 'sharp' quality to them. Whatever it is, I think it's fucking awesome. Instant the track started I had to switch it to the highest quality on the stream to hear the guitars in all their glory. The vocals weren't what I expected when they came in, but I actually liked how it came together better with these vocals.

Good work, James. Keep it up, definitely picking this one up.

Last year I saw Lazarus AD open for Unearth and Testament and I thought they were the best sounding band on the bill that night - while I love Testament and Unearth, they were mixed way too loud with the result being indistinguishable mush. Lazarus however came across great. Really looking forward to the new disc.

Great job James - you have me sold on picking this disc up.

stock EVH into both an EVH cab and a Marshall cab... custom built Neve pres... no TS or anything like that... and the pickups were JB's, so passives. i didn't need to re-amp at all.. these were the originally recorded guitars.

This is the only "thrash revival" band that I really dig. Good to see how fucking awesome the follow up to the last one is. :D

I've seen them several times, but I'm already enjoying this more than the stuff they played live a while back... everything fits together perfectly, and the vocals are mean without sounding like 'look at how tough I am... I bench press the rest of the band and arm wrestle tractors'... fun.

Jeff

Definitely digging the mix on this, I think this is my favorite thing yet from you. Guitars, kick, and snare are all excellent sounding and totally in line with my taste. Nice work! :kickass:

EDIT: And toms... Actually there's nothing I don't like about the mix.
