Lee B, did you know....

Nice one, my Mrs will be pleased :) She hid in the toilets last time we saw 'em play. It was all she could do to stop from launching herself at the stage with fists flying! She isn't, putting it mildly, a fan. The Cardiacs seem to have that effect on some people!

Where the bloody hell is Whitchurch? I doubt it's the village about 5 miles from me (I'll be chuffed if it is..), so there's got to be another one.

Festivals tend to bring out the snob in me, I'm afraid. I can think of nothing worse than spending a day surrounded by naked juggling hippies on unicycles, picking wasps out of my beer and trying to avoid the crusty waving his dreadlocks in time to the beat... Living in Reading also means that driving to work is an impossibility on the day of the festival as the great unwashed descend on the town in their VW Campers and 2CVs! Bastards!

I might make an exception for the Cardiacs though, unless they're playing a nice, cosy, sensible indoor venue somewhere else :)

Cheers for the info, and you should check 'em out live because they're storming!

Lee

:deb: <---------- what's this one for?

Apparantly, it's in Hampshire. So I don't think I'm gonna be able to get there as I have to save money for the Canterbury Festival (Porcupine Tree, Caravan & Hawkwind!!!)
