can i get a good rock tone with the gp1000 with normal output dimarzio pickups and maybe a little help with a tubescreamer or something? im thinking in that and that might be a good idea rather to follow alexi tone, create a unique tone for me myself as the gp1000 is very rare and unique piece of gear. what do you think? im without any other amp or power amp and cab to try myself.. thanks
You'll get one of Paul Gilberts late 80's tones with dimarzio + tubescreamer and GP-1000. Should be awesome for rock. Just the thought makes me want to buy a good ol' Ibanez 550 or PGM to shred away.
