Being a HUGE fan of Death over the years, I must admit that this album has never grow in me like the other ones, It's way more primitive, but dunno, there's something in the classic good death metal that attracts me, It's a great album really.

That is. wanna share my thoughts with you guys ahah :kickass:

I had the same opinion until i just sat down and listened to it properly, and it really grew on me!

I like it, but I absolutely prefer "Spiritual Healing". It sounds so good for that time. Really clear and tight performance and all elements serve the songs. I love the lead battle between Chuck and James on the title track. Absolutely great :notworthy

Man, Spiritual Healing is an amazing album, my only complain is the drums sound, I like it more on leprosy.
I really like James solo's, I actually like his early style much more ... so "Shrapnel" so good..

I actually love the drumsound on "Spiritual Healing", it´s crystal clear sounding and the performance is totally serving the songs..not so pushy, ya know? Leprosy is an album, I´m not really into, as well. But you know what, I will put it my record player now :)

I'm on the third song right now!, "Forgotten Past", you can't go wrong with the groovy riff on 0:59, one of the greatest on the album IMO

human's probably my favourite. still havent listened to the really early death stuff quite so extensively though. haven't really been feeling them lately, but their time will come again i am sure and then i will give the early stuff more of a listen ^_^
