Leprous - Coal

Leprous released their new album Coal the 20th of May. I've been listening to it a few times now and it's a bit more on the progressive side and isn't as catchy as Bilateral, which was easily my favourite album of 2011.

What do you guys think?

I think it's not as good as 'Bilateral', but not bad.
This song you posted is my fav of the album. Others are too ambient and lengthy for my taste.

Just got it. I was not blown away on my first listen, but that was also true of Bilateral. It seems like it takes a few listens to really get it. I have not passed judgment yet.

Haven't given the new album a full proper listen yet, but The Cloak is an incredible track. I can listen to that song over and over again.

I think it's safe to say that I'm a huge fan of the new album. It's pretty much the only thing I've listened to for the last 2 days. Possibly my album of the year.

Our drummer is a huge fan. I really loved the production of their 2011 album. Really should check out the new one.

Fuck yes. I have only heard it a couple times but it is really growing on me. I think this band is going to get really big. This might be some of the best music out there right now.

What are they eating in Norway these days? All the best music is coming from there.
