My name is Su-bin "cool chick" Kim. Senior men call me like that recently. Of course it is a free translation so it could be misunderstood. hmm... "neat bitch" might be more correct. Further, Su-bin is a bit femine name but I think it's a real good name.

Yes. It is a chinese character that means 'outstanding'. Almost all of korean names are composed of one or two chinese characters. Since chinese characters have a meaning, all of them have a meaning too. I guess that the last part 'lin' means 'clearness'.
