Leverage is a band that I've gotten into towards the end of 2008. My first purchase from them was their latest, Blind Fire. I currently have Distant Tides on order from Laser's Edge. In my opinion, if you dig bands such as Serenity and Eyefear, then you're bound to like their latest, Blind Fire. Any other fans?

I have both of their albums and I really like them. Definitely leans more towards the "hard-rock" side of things, so a bit more mellower than some bands I've listened to. Very melodic and nice to just listen and "groove" to.

LOVE Leverage. I was introduced to them by this year's sampler and I bought the only album I could find @ Progpower. I've heard a few others and I haven't heard a song that I don't like. Awesome melodic metal.

Definitely one of the best pure hard rock bands out there today. They remind me a lot of late nineties bands like House of Tides and Conditioned Response.

Tides is an amazing release. Blind Fire IMO is a major step backwords in all aspects. Weaker production (funny considering the hired Michael Wagner to learn about studio/producing for Blind Fire), melodies, and overall songs.

One of the biggest disappointing releases for me after absolutely finding Tides to be brilliant.
