One of my favorite Bloodbath songs, been practicing it for awhile. It's a little beyond my skill level but I took a shot at it anyways. Welp, here it be.

Not too shabby. You mentioned it was beyond your skill level, are you a relatively new drummer still?

I don't see you post on this particular forum too often so that was random. haha

I see you have an electric drum set, I happen to have one to.

Are your drumheads the "mesh" kind that can tell how hard you hit each drum? Also, do your symbols tell a difference between head and rim? And will the rims on your drums make diff sounds too?

I saw an amazing set at a local music store, Roland V-drums or something, one of the top of the line sets. It was around 3000$ dollars but the guy said he went to a Roland thing and they gave him the chance to give a serious rebate on ONE piece of Roland equipment. I got 'em for 1600 straight up! :D

Considering I live in a house while I go to university with 5 other guys, the possibility of hooking the drums up to either headphones or my surround sound system is very, very useful. Like them more than my acoustic set, not to lie.

No I'm not a new drummer, I've been drumming for over 4 years now. I just never practiced like you should (doing different exercises over and over) I just throw on some tunes and try to play to it so I progress a lot slower. But I play the drums for fun I'm not sitting there with a metronome click practicing dumb shit for hours on end, I'd rather suck. :)

I lurk here a lot, I post here and then. I'm mostly around the AA and Katatonia forums, and if I feel like abusing myself I'll visit the Opeth forum.

The drums aren't mesh but I've played the mesh heads and these are almost as high of quality. There are also pressure sensitive and have a rimshot area and another trigger on the rim for whatever you map it to. Cymbals also have dual zone. For instance on my ride if I hit the outer edge I have a china mapped to that, the normal ride area is the ride sound, and the bell of the ride is a bell sound. I love the kit, I just need a new kick trigger. As you can see in the video its small as fuck, plus its about as soft as a pillow so I get no rebound.

Anyways thanks everyone for the kind comments!
