LINKIN PARK's Mike Shinoda has released the music video for his solo song "World's On Fire". The track is taken from Mike's full-length solo album called "Post Traumatic", which came out last year. Shinoda, who co-directed the clip with Juan M. Urbina, shared how his personal interest in anime has shaped the inspiration for "World's On Fire": "My music and anime have had a long history crossing paths, from the fan videos edited over LINKIN PARK's music, to our original video for 'Breaking The Habit'. This new video for 'World's On Fire' is a lighthearted video that focuses on a female protagonist as she learns to control her unique power. "I've never taken an animated project from beginning to end," he continued. "This video, for 'World's On Fire', seemed to arrive in my head with a full story, setting, and characters all at once, and I couldn't ignore it." Some of "Post Traumatic" was inspired by the death more than two years ago of LINKIN PARK singer Chester Bennington. The latter was found dead in his Los Angeles-area home on July 20, 2017 after hanging himself. LINKIN PARK headlined an all-star tribute concert for Bennington in October 2017 in Los Angeles but has not announced any future plans for recording or touring.
