Yep! First thing I did upon reading the title was Google it! Fuck me, haha.

I'm a huge fan of both bands, and would love to see LTE collaborating again. But I've read several interviews with Mike Portnoy since the split, and according to him the Dream Theater guys have shut the doors on him. Not to mention, Portnoy has been publicly taking shots here and there at DT regarding their new material. I just think there's some bad blood between those guys now. So if there's any possibility of a reunion, I'd say it's a ways off. But, who knows, it could be a very different situation than what I've gathered...

Portnoy has just had beef with James which is where the shots between were coming from, it was more James responding to Portnoy as being unprofessional after he made some remarks and sent Portnoy into a frenzie. Last that was heard was that Portnoy still regularly has communication with John and Jordan so it still could be possible, but I really don't care, Portnoy showed his colors after he left and I really haven't cared for what he has done since as a result.
