But the nile album is really good imo, i'm gonna buy it when it comes out.

I have to say that I really like most of it. Looking forward to hearing it at higher quality.

I got Amongst the Catacombs... back in '99 and I was not really into DM at the time. I didn't really get it and I thought the drums were ridiculous (in a bad way). I also thought that the synths sounded like ass, and that the Ramses Bringer of War bit was maybe too forced. I decided Nile wasn't for me.

Well, recently, after getting into more DM, I have to say that they've grown on me quite a bit. And their later albums are much, much better, imo. This new one is no exception.

And, I even like Amongst the Catacombs now.... tastes change.

Personally I like Amongst The Catacombs of Nephren-Ka the best. Although, they don't really deviate their sound much in their albums.
