OK I'm going to cram 2 topics into 1 thread here:

Would/should Opeth do a live album?
I am a poor soul who has never seen or heard them live. I've heard good and bad about thier live shows, but I would love to see them do a Live one. Your thoughts?

Your favorite Metal Live Album?
Mine is Emperor - Emperial Live Ceremony.
Probably because I have the video too, but it's the most powerful live performance I own a recording of. They completely leave you with jaw-on-floor with this performance. They just decimate their instruments and Ihsan gives a vocal delivery that, IMO, blows away even the mighty Bruce Dickinson. It's mind blowing, the effort put forth by these Musicians.

yes i also agree that emperial live ceremony is a great live cd. probably my fav live cd too. I also just got Death- Live in LA a couple days ago. thats also really good. another good live album is pantera- 101 proof.

The Hypocrisy video is very cool, as is the Anathema one.
