Does anyone know if the live DEATH CD or VHS has been released yet? I think I read somewhere it was recorded on the last DEATH tour in California. Also, I think "Individual Though Patterns" can be a concept album, but I don't think "In Human Form,"-although a great song-really fits with the concept. Does anyone elso think so? If anyone has any info please let me know.

Death.

I personally beleive that ITP is a concept album. It's about one single topic, and all songs are based around that topic. Also, the music sticks to one style, which is not the case in other death releases (note that most of TSOP is different in style thru each song).

The reason i got shot down ages ago when i said ITP could be a concept album, is that everyone seems to think that a concept album has to be about 'mystical little green elves' or 'comic book characters' (nothin' against spawn, but Iced Earth's last few have Pissed me off majorly)

Check out WWW.EMPTYWORDS.ORG for the two death 'LIVE' releases....

Yes, Something Wicked just doesnt do much for me, Iced Earth doesn't excite me really anymore, I do dig a few songs on Horror Show, I think that last song when Matt Barlow and that girl trade off singing is cool... but I am partial to female vocalist... Speaking of, Nightwish is fucking killer, I don't know why I love that shit so much, but it is awesome

releases are 'burnt offerings' and 'the dark saga'. I just love 'VIOLATE' off -TDS-. That song is just nuts.

I guess it's the same deal with nevermore, i love ST, IN MEMORY, POE and DNB, but DHIADW just doesn't really do much for me. the crazy guitar-shit isn't there on DHIADW. (But WD's Lyrics and singing always rule, even if i don't like the cd terribly much!!!! WD rocks!). I think Tim Calvert leaving was a big loss for nevermore...

I can't stand horror show. It's hideous in my opinion, especially 'dracula'. hideous... hideous!!! Iced earth have gone downhill rapidly. I am not too much a fan of Something Wicked, but i always kept an objective opinion aside for IE, as their early stuff was so good, and i was hoping they would redeem themselves with the new CD. But apparently not so!!
