THIS WEEK ON THE CLASSIC METAL SHOW: As we get into the Halloween holiday, nothing seemed more appropriate than to do an interview with horror rockers Lizzy Borden. After a good time away from the scene, Lizzy Borden has regrouped and has a brand new album that may stand as the band's best ever; the smokin' hot APPOINTMENT WITH DEATH. Since it's a good scary title and a great scary record, we'll do a New Music Listening Party for APPOINTMENT WITH DEATH, and the one and only Lizzy Borden will be checking in with Neeley and Chris to talk about the new record, their upcoming tour, and their Halloween Show with Joey Belladonna.
Speaking of Belladonna, we promised Joey Belladonna a few weeks ago and didn't deliver. However, we got it rescheduled and Joey will be on the show this week. Joey obviously has a tremendous past given that he was the historic vocalist for Anthrax during their best time in history. Joey will be calling in to talk about his upcoming touring, including a show with Lizzy Borden in NYC on October 30th.
Finally, Mr. Naughty Naughty himself, Ted Poley, has a brand new album called SMILE that is getting ready to be released. Poley is no stranger to the CMS, as he came on the show just a year ago to talk about the release of his COLLATERAL DAMAGE record. SMILE is an album that all the female fans of the CMS are going to love, as well as some of the guys, so we'll do a CMS New Music Listening Party for SMILE. Additionally, the master of promotion Ted Poley will call in to talk about the new album, the impending Danger Danger reunion record and tour, and much, much more.
