LOGIC USERS PLEASE HELP

Hey guys

Just got my alpha channel hooked up via spidif into my fire face. I was wondering how I would go about using the i/o plugin to route my stereo out to the alpha channel, therefore using it as my master eq?

just the one.

so basically the out of fireface goes into the in of the alpha channel. the out of the alpha channel goes into the in of the fireface.

I say pick the kick drum and add the i/0 plug. I then set the output and input to spdif. nothing seems to happen, except the kick drum disappears.

I realize i can not use it on the stereo buss as it isn't a stereo unit, but still would like to process mono tracks that I haven't recorded myself

Still no signal.
Would it have something to do with my rme fire face? just dont get why no single is going thru my alpha channel
