i like this one better, called europe and italy: http://www.flashplayer.com/animation/europeanditaly.html

lol, not a great advertising.

dude, it seems Brasil was colonized by Italy instead of Portugal. Really... you could VERY well change the italian flag in that animation by a brazilian flag. (well, Brasil DID received MANY MANY italian immigrants... that probably helped shaping our behaviour :))

No wonder that Oliviero Toscani (the guy that did those Benetton ad campaigns) said in his speech in the World Advertsiging Festival in Gramado (southern Brasil, a place with MANY italian descendants), after a lot of mess and problems and people screaming while he tried to speak (the anti-USA wanted him to speak in italian or spanish, while the others prefered english), then he said that such thing would only happen in Italy and Brasil.

I remember when I was in Naples, Italy, during a vacation. being a pedestrian there is dangerous, and no one cares for traffic lights. plus you have to be aware nobody steals any shit from you. but the city is nice! ;)

i hope those aren't the only things we have in common. i mean, i'm sure there are a bunch of positive things to mention, not only the sterotypes shown in that animation... :)

i've been to naples once or twice and man, that's dangerous! it's a nice city, indeed, and the people are friendly (also the thieves, i suppose  ) but they have a totally different attitude towards most things in life from the one we have here in the north, so i don't think i'd feel comfortable living there.

yeah Naples was fun, I was there with my father...and I wanted to visit a certain chapel hidden somewhere in a dark alley. my father was all anxious and didn't move his hands away from his purse and phone while we were going there.
and the damn scooters everywhere!! ;)
