Who really gives a shit about Aha or the band that sings Ill Stop the World and Melt With You, or Flock of Seagules? I'm talking about bands like The Replacements. The album Tim is incredible! They were always a great band to see live. I think The Replacements at the legendary Country Club Venue was the first time I ever countered a slam pit. How about Husker Du? Bob Mould. Where the fuck are they? Does anyone remember Billy Brag? Remember when Lou reed sounded cool?
