Hell ya man thats sick!! I love the original version, I just hate how thin it sounded.

Taylor ....

Half the accent guitars lost all their definition.

This isnt very good. Everything is buried under the vocals and the solo is too low in the mix. Snare is way out there doesnt fit the mix either, toms are too low in the mix as well.

Ill stick to the original

I just imported the original song into Pro Tools.

And after listening a few more times this morning, I actually agree with you Guru. I popped a hole in my right eardrum on monday from a car accident, so my hearing is still a little muffled. It sounded good to me yesterday, but now after a good night sleep and my coffee I hear what you mean now

I think I put more reverb on it which might be a reason why. And I put too much lower mids in the eqing. I'll go mess with it later if I'm bored, I was stoned yesterday so that's why I started doing it.
