Hey guys.

My band SCIENTIC recently recorded a little demo at death-island studios, but we are in need of a singer with “clean” vocals. We are based in Denmark and unfortunatly we haven’t been able to find a decent singer who fits our music. Our inspirations are bands like Nevermore, Megadeth, Death, Symphony X, Yngwie Malmsteen, etc... We are looking for a singer close to Denmark. If you’re interested please contact us at scientic@death-island.com.

We made a “video” for one of our songs. Please watch and feel free to comment:

Our website is: www.myspace.com/scienticband

Thx in advance

Freakin killer man! Good luck with your search.

Well, if we're talking Portal-style, a hole that links two locations physically should allow sound waves to propagate through it as long as there is a medium (presumably air can pass through the portal as freely as anything else). A Star Trek style "step on this pad and get beamed" teleporter probably would not trigger for simple pressure waves, and it isn't clear whether a person being "beamed" takes a column of surrounding air with them or not. Another question is how both of these systems would handle the changes in angular momentum inherent in long distance travel over a rotating sphere. if there was a dramatic shift in relative speeds between the endpoints, would there be some sort of Doppler shift in the sound perceived by parties at either end?

I love it when you talk dirty.

you both bring up good points. but metal doesnt work on the same plane of existence as the rest of the universe.
This is also truth.
