still need to add bass/vocals and bump up the humanizing plugin on the drums a lot. id like the guitars to be a bit more "in your face". what do you think so far though? i dont think its half bad. really thinking about just recording/mixing/mastering my bands album myself. soundcloud link below
so a couple questions.
- what are the absolute best ways to make programmed drums sound as real as possible. im using the humanizer in reaper as well as adjusting the velocity a bit randomly by hand but it still sounds too perfect.
- how do i bring the guitars to the front of the mix without actually turning up the volume?
