We need some reviewers whose preferences lean a certain way. We're going to do our best to have every one of us review as much as we can, but to be honest, we're not going to give the most flattering reviews to things we deem inferior. It's unavoidable, but it's the truth.
We need reviewers in these departments:
Emo (Dashboard Confessional, Alkaline Trio, My Chemical Romance)
Alternative Rock (Nickelback, Hoobastank, The Calling, Linkin Park)
Punk (I'm not giving examples, if you know punk, cool, if not, don't bother
Indie (Just someone with more of a non-mainstream catalog)
And obviously Metal, of all sorts.
Here's how to apply:
Review an album in one of the genres above.
Make it decently long(250 words is about right).
Scale of 1-10, no decimals.
Best Song/Worst Song
List what kind of people should buy the album.
Things to consider:
Grammar and Spelling: If neither are important to you, please, don't bother.
Musical knowledge: We're not asking a lot, just that you know what you're talking about.
Logic: Don't say an album sucks cause it's metal, I really don't care that you hate metal. Give me good reasoning.
