Looking for some similar music to old Leaves' Eyes and Xandria

Hi,

I'm really into old Leaves' Eyes (anything pre Symphony of the Night) and Xandria (pre Neverworld's End). I like symphonic metal, but I like the other stuff more.

I don't really know what genre it is, I guess I'm looking for folk metal with a female singer? Anyone know anything similar, let me know. Haven't found anything as good as them myself.

Thanks for the replies. Yeah some of this stuff is pretty cool. Was thinking more Lovelorn, less Meredead though. So I guess it's kind of like pop metal? I don't know...
