I'd agree it's probably better to remove the name here.

I think that's fairly common, in this country at least, and you can see why they do it.
The article that mentions the name is suppressed is two years old, but the FB post doesn't actually mention specifics either so it could still be under court order.

The court is all done and he was sentenced to 6 years the other day, hence why the band was finally able to make a statement. But yeah, there will be ongoing name suppression to protect the victim's identity. One thread about LORD here was probably enough.

as a member since 2002 i wanted to show how shocked I was, that someone I have known on this board for 20 years has done this.

Nothing really shocks me any more in this absurd existence, but then I got the news gradually - something serious enough to have halted the band, and then the prison rumour. I posted in the LORD section for 14 years until it was purged in mid-2023. It's baffling that someone so talented with music & production would throw that all away to be a numpty nonce.

It'd be nice if a few of you could stick around and get some other topics going here. Otherwise it sure is a fucked up epilogue for this forum section.
