Venom - Cast In Stone
OK, I don't get it. For some reason this album was widely panned. The follow up (resurrection) received great reviews, but I always saw it the other way around. Cast In Stone (for any possible Venom fans here) was, for me, one of the few reunion albums that really worked. It sounded like they picked up right where they left off, or a couple albums previous to where they left off really, say, right after At War With Satan. I don't expect a lot of support on this one, but I still put this album on from time to time. It's completely (in my mind) old school, and not one bad song on it! For the first album with Cronos back.....I thought they struck gold. Oh, and I don't like Resurrection.....thought it was boring. Really.
