Lost woods theme, Legend of zelda cover.

Here's a little cover i threw together.

i would like to get all of your opinions on it, the mix mostly.

Guitars tracked with My line 6 pod as usual.
Same for the bass.

Drums are samples i've collected from the forum, snipped from the black dahlia murder.

Cool cover man! I was playing this game in my phone this morning. Guitars could be brighter, Kick a little too loud and more control in the bass. It still sounds very good to me.
I did this lost woods cover with my keyboard years ago, all instruments are actually played, in slow tempo and re adjusted to normal.

I can't honestly remember. My drum samples are sort of pieced together....terrible, i know.

Lol, well i tried to stay true to the feel of the song, but oh well.


Glad you like the engineering, though! and yes, kick drums that actually have some punch to them are the best!

I found the source files for the overheads. They're from a sample thing i got called "Divine Kit" and i cannot, for the life of me, remember where i got that pack, and who made it. But, anyways, i'm loading the 3 different crashes, and the ride cymbal hits. If you need any more, just say so.
