It's a great read, where he sells his most recent show for $5 as an unrestricted download through himself, not through a distributor, and makes an assload of money.

I want this trend to continue and be able to bleed over into the music industry. If more already noteworthy artists did this and turned a profit, even 1/4 this successful, it would change the game in music and put the money back into artists pockets.

I hope this becomes a thing.

Looks like it's working out well. I'm gonna take this as a good sign that maybe people aren't all total douches.
