If you read the Old Testament, god hates everyone but the Israelites. Hell, there's times he punishes the Israelites for allowing woman and children to survive a genocide he commanded. I'm always amazed that Christians want to tell you, that Mosaic law was done away with when Christ fulfilled Old Testament prophecy (which is why they don't stone people, slaughter animals, etc.). However, apparently two lines in the Old Testament survived Christ's sacrifice; man on man sex is bad, and you still need to give the church 10%.
