It has been officially released. First big release of 2007 AFAIAC, it stabilizes the atmospheres of previous albums and explores new territories with the production gains of Mond. To put it briefly, I think this is excellent black-metal.

I didnt even know they were working on a new one. Although, it's not like they don't put out a release every frickin year. One of the only black metal bands that capture a tremendously bleak atmosphere very well without being just another clone band.

Both of the covers are nice, the digipack version looks more like a dark ambient release...and I don't know what everyone's issues with Megaupload are, other than being occasionally overloaded I never get failed downloads from that site.

Our 8th album "Andacht" has been released and from now on we will disappear until further notice.
For several private reasons we decided to give our future ways their own musical "projects". Information about those will be given at an appropriate time and maybe, some day, Lunar Aurora will recur.

It's been a while since I last praised a bm band so much but Andacht is totally filler-free. Some tracks are slightly better than others but they all rule immensly. 100% rulage.

Also, "Das Ende" is one of the GREATEST.CLOSER.EVER. Do yourself a favour : put the new Moonsorrow on the shelf and get this
