Thoughts?

1. It doesn't suck.
2. It might be great, but I'm not sure yet.
3. I miss the transitional segments that Loveless and Tremolo had.
4. I'm not sure if I like the last two tracks enough to listen to this from start to finish every time.
5. It's more rhythm driven, but also less dancey.
6. I didn't find any great hooks the first time through.
7. The production is hard to gripe about.
8. I like the artwork, and the song titles could not be more expected for MBV, but I'm okay with that.
9. It's not a retread of Loveless. A lot of non-guitar effects this time.
10. Song structure seems significantly more complex. Not much ABAB going on.
11. Must listen a dozen or so more times in the next week.

Correction: In Another Way is fucking awesome, the Soon of this album.

How the fuck do you guys not know who My Bloody Valentine are?

Anyways they just put out a new album 22 years after their classic, Loveless

Have yet to listen, but I've heard mostly good things about it

I still prefer Loveless, but I like it better than their other stuff I heard.

Hahahahaha my bloody valentine?????
You like so much homoerotic power metal that you're the last person who should make fun of this band over your perceptions of them based on their name.

Anyway, the more I listen to this, the more I am convinced it is a more than worthy follow-up, and something I'll be listening to a lot for quite some time. Highly recommended.
