M.O.D DEATHMATCH Week #2

I have to give the edge to Unhuman Race. I like the right in your face beginning as well as the subject matter and title. I really like the take no prisoner delivery of the lyrics right off the bat.

"You criticize a way of life. and don't agree to their struggle or their plight. Then you're branded, left dead, stranded. Freedom of thought, I don't ask, I demand it".

The music and lyrics are fast and furious and I like the breakdown in the middle of the song. It also is placed perfectly as the last track at the end of the album. It finishes and sums up Devolution nicely

One was Johnny is another great tune with fantastic lyrics but I have to say for I get more bang for my buck with Unhuman race. Plus I have a preference for shorter songs.

So the I see the deathmatch going this way. Both Challengers after 30 minutes of brawling are now finally engaged fully in each others submission holds. The crowd is roaring. It looks like "One Was Johnny" is about to tap out when guest referee Buzzard grabs the the time keepers bell from underneath the ring apron and clobbers "Unhuman Race" over the head. Debris and garbage are hurled into the ring by the frenzied crowd as Buzzard puts "One was Johnny" over "Unhuman Race's" passed out carcass for the pin. Buzzard counts 1-2- thr.... when suddenly !

(to be continued)
