mac suddenly died out?

Poof off it goes. Cant turn on. nothing works. Could it be the power cable? how long was my warranty? 1 yr? 3 yr? bummer.

So did mine. PSU shit the bed, taking everything with it. Yanked the hard drives and RAM and recycled the rest. Little bit of a bummer

Pretty sure its 1 year from date of purchase, extended warranty through Apple care 3 yrs. No power at all or a light screen when turned on?
Contact Apple and set up a time at the Genius bar, very very helpful.
