What's your average % of free ram??

I'm sitting at 1.07GB free, with just airport on and Mail open.

Is there something funny going on here??

[I've not noticed a drop in performance when mixing 40+ tracks, however]

safari (10 tabs), mail, itunes, last.fm open.

how much ram do you have? 2 GB?
i never looked it up during mixing, but i can't remember having less then 2 GB of free ram

yeah, in the last few months I've just not had the cash to upgrade... and it's not conked out with only having two!

Now I have 2.21 GB free (of 4GB) with Safari and Skype open
(Wired: 447, Active: 454, Inactive: 938)

Obviously starting up / keeping it running uses more RAM than I suspected!
