Machine Head Killers & Kings

Soundwise definitly again more like Blackening and TTAOE which is a good thing. Didn't like the production on Locust that much.
Song is ok but nothing special.

Never been a huge fan of the music, still interesting to see the studio reports.

Does anybody know if Richardson mixed this and will be mixing the album? That track sounds pretty much like him.

kinda hard to decide which one sucks more, this or the new slayer? terrible vocal lines, boring drumming... meeeeehhhh

The new Slayer song is interesting from a production standpoint.
Terry Date > Fidelman even when it comes to raw tones.
The song itself sucks ass.

I was expecting worse from MH. I listened to the whole song till the end. That's a good sign. It's not revolutionary but there's a good energy.

^^ i'm talking about the song itself, not the production. fortunately i'm still able to listen to music with pretty bad productions (means a "bad" production does not bother me if the song is great) ;)

Not so good song but i wonder if they use super thin strings or what? Always got a very nasty (in a good way) scratchy sound to their guitars. Picking technique plays a huge part of it but it must be something else too.

I'm a little torn with this track... though they're cover of Ignites Bleeding/Darkest Days is pretty cool...

I'm gonna wait until I hear the album...

to be honest I wasnt 100% on the last album until I heard their cover of Sentinel and then for some reason the album made sense... no idea why...
