Machine Head

I like the first album "Burn My Eyes," but that's it. Vio-lence was a much better band. Rob actually sang on one of their songs (although it wasn't very good) called "Dicks of Death" from the Torture Tactics ep. Their albums are out of print but will be reissued sometime this year according to their website.

I've never heard any of their albums, but I did see them in concert once. They had a band called Reveille opening for them, and the girl I was dating at the time was friends with the opening act, so we got to party backstage at the show (this was at Bogart's in Cincy). I thought both bands put on a great show and they were also a blast to hang out with. The girl I was dating at the time had big tits, blonde hair and could drink me under the table, so naturally whenever someone mentions Machinehead, I get warm and fuzzy all over....

I saw these guys open up for Slayer and Biohazard at the Hara Arena back in early 1995. They kicked ass. Bought the first album on cassette! I used to have a system where "must haves" and "keepers" were bought on CD, and things I just wanted to check out were bought on cassette tape. It was more economical. Anyway, I didn't follow them much more after that. After college and high school, a band has to be really special to get me enthused, because I just don't have time to sit around and listen to music all the time.
