Mackie blackbird..??

I was lookinh to get away from the firepod so I just ordered one how are they?? I trust mackie so i grabbed it on ebay..
Can i daisy chain these firewire to get the 16ch or use the ADAT ?? just curious curious Thanks

I'd just use the ADAT inputs man.
Not used the Blackbird but I used to have a Onyx 800R that I liked and I've now got a Blackjack for doing stuff at home. Mackie stuff has always seemed really solid to me!
