Made a mix CD-R. It's very dark. Give me your thoughts.

Colour Haze - Mountain
Danzig - Little Whip
Electric Wizard - Vinum Sabbathi
Jerry Cantrell - Pig Charmer
Enslaved - Havenless
Ufomammut - Hopscotch
Manes - diving with your hands bound [nearly flying]
Future Sound of London - Lifeforms
Kayo Dot - The Manifold Curiosity
Neurosis - Falling Unknown
Silver Mt. Zion - 13 angels standing guard 'round the side of your bed
Swans - Mind/Body/Light/Sound
The Legendary Pink Dots - City of Needles
Sunn O))) - It Took the Night to Believe
Blut Aus Nord - Inner Mental Cage
White Zombie - Blur the Technicolor
White Zombie - More Human Than Human

For a girl. She already knows I'm a weirdo.

EDIT: Oh yeah, More Human Than Tofu can be considered a bonus track, I'm only putting that one on there because she loves Blade Runner.

Man, you f'in rule for putting the Dots AND "More Human Than Human" on the same disc

I think I have 10 LPD albums... that's what, like, 1/5 of their total output?

Dude, check out The Tear Garden. You will fuckin love Tear Garden. Repeat after me: I WILL CHECK OUT TEAR GARDEN. THESE AREN'T THE DROIDS WE'RE LOOKING FOR

These aren't the droids we're looking for. Move along.

But okay, I will. I just recently picked up Shadow Weaver and I've had Nemesis Online for some time now. They both rule in healthily unhealthy amounts.

Yeah, I swoon every time I hear Ka-Spel's little speech impediment

Seriously, the dude's a musical genius. Between The Tear Garden, the Dots and his solo work, he has to have about 80 albums... and I've yet to hear one that isn't worth owning. Shit, he's also on a couple Current 93 records

Does Herr Møøse know about them shitz? I know he's into Current 93.

PS: all these Redrum + Cokes have me AMPED right now. Stupid 3am.

PisS: Mono and Pelican tomorrow (today) night! :kickass:

I've thought about checking LPD out, but their enormous backcatalogue has intimidated me... because I know that once I get hooked, I'll want it all.

YES! The second best song on the album behind "Blood Promise".

Seriously, what others Swans' records are like this one. "Cop/Young God" was FAGGOT BULLSHIT!

Check out White Light From the Mouth of Infinity and Love of Life, they both pair up quite nicely with The Great Annihilator. Then to get related stuff, Children of God for the harsher end, and Various Failures for mellower/darker stuff. Also Soundtracks for the Blind may well be their best work, it's mostly soundscape stuff with minimal vocals though, not sure if you'd dig that.

Swans early days has some cool shit, but it's pretty fuckin' out there and I don't listen to it much. More of a "hey check this oddball shit out" type thing as opposed to "I have to listen to this DAILY" like their middle period.

EDIT: Oh yeah (on topic wtf) and so far she digs the first half of the first disc, as well as some Neurosis I played for her the other day. :)

Dude, the "christ I need a cigarette" and "hey sailor, come on by" lyrics make me go completely gay for the dude.

Finally listening to the track you uploaded, what be this from?
