I know the band has a few fans here in the forum... Magellan was a prog rock/metal project that was on Magna Carta and InsideOut.
Their guitarist/co-founder Wayne Gardner passed away a couple of days ago.
I remember enjoying one of their albums back in the day but never really digging deep into their catalogue. Regardless, it's always sad to read such news especially when it comes to bands that are connected (or closely connected) to "our" scene.
Wayne's brother broke the news a few days ago, and then posted some very nice few words about his brother:
