Trent Gardner was asking fans for funding, some donated but he still needed more money. This was lie one or two yrs ago. Dont know the.current status

Don't kid. Over on the Progressive Ears forum, the Canadian band Half Past Four just started a thread begging for a hand out. Pretty pathetic if you ask me.

There's a site called Kickstarter which you can ask for money and if it reaches your goal, you can start the project and the money from the fans is charged. I know Kevin Moore used that to fund his latest movie soundtrack and he offered different packages.

EDIT: but the Trent issue has been going on for some quite time. He has dissappeared from the face of the earth this last 2 years and I don't know if the fans who pitched in got something in return or if they had their money refunded. From what I've read, Trent doesn't have a good record financially with Magna Carta or Inside Out.

I have to be in a certain mood for Magellan. I do have all their albums. Some of the music is good, some of it is a bit quirky, so it just depends.
