If it's anywhere near as good as Motörhead wine, AC/DC wine, Amon Amarth beer or Clutch beer, I look forward to being intensely underwhelmed.

For some reason, and it might be my blind lust for most things Iron Maiden....but I think this will be different. I really got the impression from the video they posted with Bruce's introduction to the beer, that it will be a class act. Look forward to trying some on tap when in the UK next.

Woolies Liquor have KISS beer marked down to $50 a case at the moment, better yet it scanned as $40 at the checkout.
It's surprisingly drinkable, if nothing particularly exciting or noteworthy. Tastes like cheap German beer (despite being brewed in Sweden), which is still far better than cheap Australian beer.
Definitely not worth the RRP but it's alright for the novelty at the mark-down price.

I found it tasted really steely and metallic. Perhaps intentional, like blood? It wasnt bad, but odd. The only thing I've had like it is a Belgian lager called Maes.

A bar held a Trooper beer party here in 2014, with the Kiwi band Anubis playing a set of covers including lots of Maiden.
The bottles are 500ml and the deal was anyone who bought 3 got a free Trooper shirt. It's a small bar and wasn't that busy, It seemed a bunch of the audience had preloaded and were struggling to get down 1 or 2 of these beers, never mind 3. I was well entertained by the way they were falling all over the floor. So when I was still standing at the end I was offered a shirt even though I'd only bought 2.
I thought the beer was decent but I don't remember it that well. I wouldn't care for the Belgian influence but I like some proper English ales and they're harder to come by here than they should be.

That's s cool t-shirt that not too many people would have. You did well to score one. I bought the beer years back and still have the bottle.
