That sucks that you're gonna have to pay for the fan club one. I joined the fan club one year and it sucked so I wouldn't do it again. The only fan club that I've ever been a member of which is totally worth it is the MetClub.
Had some awesome times on that board, and met one of my very best friends on there too.

Very few people outside of the UK are satisfied with the fan club. I stopped being a member years ago.
However, paying $15 for a year's worth of privilege to be on the bulletin board might be worth it. I signed up, so I'll see if it's really worth it. I know running these things cost money, but I'd have thought that $5 would be enough.

Yeah,
I didn't renew my subscription a couple of years back. If you're outside the UK, there really is no point to it. You don't have a chance at the good seats, like they do over there... You get your picture and magazine, way after the release and have no chance at any of the contests. We may see more peeps here, at Bruceton (screamforme.com) and at Maidenfans.com...
Hopefully the trolls will stay away...
