There has. I'm keen. If they don't bring it here, I might make the effort to see them elsewhere.

I like it when they do these theme tours. There are other bands I think it would have been much better to have seen on certain tours, but Maiden revisit those tours so younger folks can experience them too, even decades on.

Breaks up the album-tour-album cycle that other musicians can get stuck in as well. If only they were able to mix up setlists a bit more like say Metallica, they would be the best touring band around. I <3 Maiden.

I'm really hoping Maiden England makes its way to Australia as well. I saw Iron Maiden for the first time at Soundwave 2011 in Melbourne during the Final Frontier tour and although that was a good set list, the Maiden England set list is heaps better.

I loved watching their 2012 North American on YouTube. With a bit of luck if/when they come to Australia in 2013, they'll modify the set list to include Infinite Dreams (it seems when a tour goes into the next calendar year, the set list gets altered) and as much as I love Wasted Years, I hope they play a song or two from SIT that they haven't played in yonks like Alexander The Great or Caught Somewhere In Time. I intend to talk more about that in the set list thread.

They'll never play Alexander the Great. They've never gone back and started playing a song that they didn't play during its original tour.
