The closes I have to an Ipod is an MP3 player. They have good features that ipods don't have. I have to disagree with Bruce it sounds awesome on my MP3 player. Then again my MP3 player might have better quality.

If you run an mp3 through your earbuds it should sound fine. It's when you run it through your stereo system through the speakers that you start to hear the compression.

MP3's definitely aren't the best way to release music. Especially these day's. I'm lucky to have an awesome surround sound system that makes every detail in the recording come clear. MP3s are so compressed you don't get the depth and with Steve's bass playing that's crucial.
